Direct Microsclerotherapy

Direct Microsclerotherapy is a medical treatment that is used to treat smaller spider veins. The sclerosant solution is injected into the veins which damages them and causes them to eventually collapse and be reabsorbed by the body. This procedure can be performed for purely cosmetic reasons but it can also be used to treat symptoms caused by spider veins such as aching, swelling, bleeding and itching. This procedure takes 45 minutes or less depending on the number of spider veins to treat for the patient.
